GLSVLSI 2015 is held at Pittsburgh between May 20-22, 2015. Prof. Li served as conference general chair, together with Prof. A. Jones from Pitt ECE.

EI-lab Alumini, Prof. Danghui Wang from Northwestern Polytechnical University organized 2015 Frontier of Information Storage and Design Automation Technologies Workshop at Xi’an between May 9-10, 2015. Prof. Chen attended the workshop.

EI-lab has eight research papers (including one coauthored) and one invited paper accepted by this year DAC. One coauthored paper is also accepted as work-in-progress. Congratulations to all the authors!

The kick-off meeting was held at AFRL, Rome, NY for research project Hai Li (PI, 50%), Yiran Chen (co-PI, 50%), “The Design of Neuromorphic Controller System Built with Memristor Crossbars,” FA8750-15-2-0048, 01/01/2015-12/31/2017, $750,000.

Prof. Xuren Wang from IHEP of CAS joined us as visiting scholar. She will work with EI-Lab for about one year. Welcome on board!

Zhenyu Received “EDAA Outstanding Dissertation Award”, which is represented in the opening ceremony of DATE 2015. Congratulations to Zhenyu for this remarkable achievement!

A one-day neuromorphic workshop is held on Wednesday. Prof. Karlheinz Meier from Heidelberg University gave an wonderful keynote speech.
